# Mike Clark for Eugene City Council, Ward 5

> Mike Clark is a candidate for the Eugene City Council in Ward 5, Eugene, Oregon, in the nonpartisan November 3, 2026 general election. His campaign focuses on housing affordability, funding police and fire, growing local jobs, protecting core city services, and spending taxpayer dollars carefully.

Ward 5 covers north and northwest Eugene: the Bethel, Trainsong, River Road and Santa Clara areas, the Highway 99 corridor, and the neighborhoods around Royal Avenue.

Mike led the multi-year effort to convert the former EWEB building into Eugene's city hall instead of building a new one, a decision supporters credit with saving Eugene taxpayers tens of millions of dollars.
